Some Mr. Big and my first ever attempt at calligraphy and using a dip pen after 15 years. So happy with how it turned out. I remember being taught calligraphy for a full term in 5th grade, at that time it was just another class I needed to pass, ha!
Here i braved using the Brause Rose nib and dad’s (very) old poster paint. This nib isn’t really advised for beginners like, but who can resist its prettiness?
In case anyone is wondering where I got my tools of the trade, I ordered my nibs (Brause 76 Rose, Brause 66 EF, and Esterbrook 355) and nib holder from The Craft Central. As for my inks, I use poster and water colors.
